So we've already established that you enjoy sewing, otherwise why would you be here. Do you get asked by friends, colleagues and family members if you would sew something for them, do a repair or alteration, or even make them a wedding gown? I think a lot of people have a real interest in learning to sew, but not everyone knows where to start. Maybe they tried it some time back and didn't get the encouragement they needed or life got in the way.
National Sewing Month is the ideal time to encourage them to start or take up sewing again. I want you to share your love of sewing with someone you know so I'm offering you a special for the rest of this month – Gift a pattern to someone else for $5.
You can go over to the So Sew Easy store and buy any pattern for $5 and when you check out, leave me a note in the Notes to Seller with the email address of your friend and I'll send the pattern to them directly with a nice email telling them someone bought them a sewing pattern. Bring a little sewing happiness 🙂
Because of the way I'll send the emails, I won't be able to personalise them all with the name of the buyer, so it will just be a nice surprise to your friend when they get their ‘secret santa' sewing pattern.
If you are gifting them a pattern, how about giving them a sewing lesson too? I've got some great sewing lesson vouchers you can download and print either to promise your sewing time, or you can even fill them out with a specific lesson. Maybe help them to sew up the pattern you've just sent them.
