40+ Free Slipper Sewing Patterns and Ideas

slipper sewing patternsGet Ready For Autumn With Some New Slippers

I've recently been spending a lot of time in Chile in the southern hemisphere where it's still very much the middle of winter.  The place we're staying has stone floors and the rooms are very drafty so as you can imagine, my feet are always cold.

When we lived in the tropics, I didn't really need anything on my feet as it was always too hot, but now I find myself without the necessary slippers.

So, I went to have a look for what free slipper sewing patterns I could find on the internet and boy, did I find a lot and I'd like to share the best ones with you.  I'll also link you to a project we did last year making some really nice fur boots.  I think you'll really love those.

Given it's still the end of summer up north, it's probably a good time to start thinking about how you're going to stay warm when autumn comes.  Please enjoy!

Thank you so much for this? I spend hours looking for slipper patterns – I make them for friends and family as gifts out of fabric scraps I get from a furniture upholsterer – but, everybody wants a different style. I also glue very thin (4 mm) rubber sheet to the soles for extra warmth and non slip. Just tie the slippers inside a pantyhose leg, soles together, and into washing machine … the soles don’t pull off. With crafty love from South Africa ?
