That wonderful time of year is fast approaching. For those in the northern hemisphere, the days are getting shorter and there may even be a hint of snow now from time to time. For those of us in the southern hemisphere, the days are long and getting warmer and warmer. Either way and depending on you perspective, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

There are so many things one can sew around the Christmas theme. In many cultures, one of the most recognised is the Christmas tree. The tradition of the candle-lit Christmas tree is credited to the 16th century Germans according to History.com and the tradition has truly spread far and wide around the world since then.
