Hi! Stephanie from Swoodson Says and I have the most fun round-up to share with you today: baby quilts! I still have the baby quilt that my Grandma made me, I shared it here. Baby quilts are the best – smaller size, faster to sew, super sentimental, and they'll definitely be used.
If you're in the mood for a quicker project, use up some scraps and make a quilted rainbow burp cloth!
Babies love colors and shapes, so I picked bright, modern quilts with lots of things to look at, perfect for a baby shower gift. Simple shapes and bright contrasts work well for the little ones, as well as the more traditional nursery and cartoon style prints. You can also ‘cheat' using a ready made panel and simply add batting and backing without any piecing at all. Some of my favorite panels are showcased at the bottom too.
