Hi, I’m Rhonda from Rhonda’s Creative Life. I’m so excited about having the opportunity to come to you as a guest of So Sew Easy. I have an extra special project for you today, my clam shell wristlet.
Party season will soon be upon us and every party dress needs the perfect little purse.
It’s perfect for any holiday function!
It will hang from your wrist and give you the freedom to enjoy a few hor dourvers or dance the night away and never worry about what might have happened to your bag.
The bag can easily be customized with a special zipper pull. I made mine from a few leftover beads.
I've included the pattern pieces and the full step by step photo instructions in two separate downloads for you to print and keep. So download the pattern and the directions and make a bag for that special holiday function.
Enjoy the party!
Rhonda

The little purse is really cute. Thanksgiving was not a good time this year. We had to bury my oldest sister. But I’m really looking forward to Christmas. My sister was a great sewist and crafter.
Celebrate my daughter’s birthday when she comes to visit on Christmas Eve. She was born 24 December. Merry Christmas. crystalbluern at onlineok dot com
We always have lots of teens over for New Year’s Eve. We do snack foods and games and have a great time.
Lots of visiting with family from out of town…and lots of eating!
We’re going to one “party” this season – we go see friends every year. He cooks bbq and has an open bar, and we all laugh and have fun. No fuss, no muss!
This is a really neat idea. Thanks so much for sharing at the Pinworthy Projects Party this week.
Christmas with my daughter & her family!
No real plans – just some relaxing time off from work, with lots of reading & sewing to pass the time.
Love the little bag pattern, thank you.
So elegant.
Love that purse 🙂 Pinned!
The purse is really cute. I might have to dust off my sewing machine and make one for kiddo as a dress up bag.
Family, friends and sleep
Looking forward to visiting family!
My brothers and sister and I will all get together for Christmas. No other family members are close so will just be hubby and I.
Hi,
First I will have my company chrismas party then I will run away to the alpes to enjoy a quiet week in the snow for skiing. Afterwards I am looking forward to travel to my hometown and meet family and friends again 🙂
Hosting 12 guests for Thanksgiving dinner, then a “quiet” Christmas with our daughter, son in law and 2 grandsons.
Pot luck at parent’s house with siblings. I’m bringin the mashed taters 🙂
I’m spending Christmas at my parent’s house together with my siblings, then I’m hosting a party for New Year’s Eve.
My festive plans including moving to another state, starting a new job and getting settled in…..fun, huh?
Thanks for the giveaway!
My party plans…my sister and I are planning a little family & close friends get together. We tried last year but it just didn’t work out with everyone’s busy schedules. Hoping we can get it to happen this year!!
We usually just chill and veg at home, the family that is. Play board games, eat leftovers, watch movies, hang out in our new pj’s and do nothing!
I’m going with my family to see the Rockefeller Christmas Tree & all the nearby NYC Christmas store fronts. Visiting family & friends this year – it’s not my turn to host. It makes things a little more relaxing too.
We are having my eldest daughter, SIL and their two gorgeous boys over for Christmas. They are bringing a surprise visitor, my third daughter. My son and his girlfriend will also be here. Makes for a houseful in our little house but a lot of fun!
Love your patterns!! Hope I win some 🙂 Thank you!
It’s always a family thing. Just happy that no one is sick and able. We lost 3 this year so it’s going to be hard.
So sorry to hear that Patricia. It can be difficult to celebrate with loved ones missing.
Heading to the in-laws for Thanksgiving. No big plans yet for Christmas. Thanks!
Those patterns are all adorable
Would love more SS patterns!
Perfect for all those Xmas events 🙂
I love the Ruffle Pants pattern.
I am planning to participate in a couple of cookie swaps this year if I have the time.
Love giveaways!
Visiting as much family as we can fit into our time. And making christmas candy with all th women in the family
This giveaway is soooo awesome, I would loooove to win a couple of the boy’s patterns!
We’re going to the neighborhood Christmas party in a few weeks. It was fun last year!
So far I’m hosting Thanksgiving and seeing a play (“It’s a Wonderful Life”) with the in-laws the first weekend in December.
