My guest post over at Little House Living this month is for this reusable market tote bag. It has a vinyl bottom to make sure the bag lasts and lasts and doesn't get worn or poked through in the bottom like my usual reusable bags from the supermarket.
My favorite thing about this bag – the lovely handles. Nice and soft to carry a heavy bag full of groceries but strong and attractive at the same time.
Drop on over to Little House Living to take a look and make your own. There's a video too.
Gigi love this bag, want to make one for each of my daughters, but can not find the measurements ,please help.
Can I use an all-purpose thread for this bag or do I need to use a heavier upholstery thread? Also, did you finish the raw edges of the handles before attaching them?
I’m looking forward to making a few of these as teacher gifts!!
Hi Mary, please click on the link it will take you to the full tutorial and the video. It is all there on how to create the handles.
found your site yesterday and spend hours looking over your videos and patterns You are an excellent instructor very clear,, and easy to understand thank you
I love this… going to have to make one or two up for myself and for presents! I have some soft vinyl that looks like ostrich. Won’t that make a gorgeous tote. Got it on sale but didn’t know what I was going to do with it. Now I do. 🙂 I love your patterns and your videos. They’ve really helped me a lot!
