Minions Sewing Patterns Roundup: 20+ FREE Projects

I'll be honest, I wasn't too familiar with the Minions franchise until a reader suggested doing this roundup of free Minions sewing patterns.  My kids were too old in 2015 when the film came out so we pretty much missed the phenomenon that developed around the characters.

  The film grossed over $1.1 billion worldwide and was the fifth most popular film that year and the 21st highest-grossing film of all time, so it really was and remains super popular. 

A sequel called Minions: The Rise of Gru is scheduled to be released in July 2021 so I think the interest is likely to continue and grow in the future so it seemed a good time to put together this collection of patterns.

So Just What Are Minions Anyway?

According to Wikipedia:

Minions are small, yellow creatures who have existed since the beginning of time, evolving from yellow single-celled organisms into beings which exist only to serve history's most despicable masters.

These creatures debuted in the Despicable Me films and were launched on their own in the 2015 blockbuster.
