Do you like to save time and money?
Well, I do. When I was growing up, I was always taught to make the most of every opportunity and to save time and money whenever I could. This has served me and my family pretty well over the years.
I've always had the view that when I was going to sew something, why not take that little extra step to use a fashion fabric for the liner and to finish the linings well so I could make something, whether a bag or a garment, reversible. That way I could have two fashions for pretty much the same time and money it takes to make one –so saving heaps of time and money. We've done quite a few reversible sewing projects on the site over the years.
Still, there are many, many more out there by other good designers. So I decided to put together a list of the best ones I could find.
As I usually do, I wanted to share this list with you!
Why not try one of our own reversible sewing projects?

I absolutely love blouses and/or dresses that have an attached cape (capelet). Every once in awhile I search the internet to try to find patterns with this feature, but have not been successful. I am a plus size so I do not wear fitted clothing but rather a soft, flowy type of clothing. Any ideas. I find your tips and ideas very useful. Thank you.
Thank you very much for including my reversible book/folder cover tutorial! It’s greatly appreciated ?
