There are a lot of sewing tips, tricks and tutorials on the internet and hidden away in some of the biggest, best and smallest sewing blogs out there. When you want to find something, it's not always easy to find the best tutorial for your problem. But now we can join together and make the best of the internet's sewing tutorials easy to find.
Introducing the latest Pinterest Group Board –
Sewing Tutorials and Tips
If you love the Group Board for Free Sewing Patterns, then the Sewing Tutorials Board is for you.
What is a Pinterest Group Board?
Pinterest has a great feature that allows us to collaborate, pin and share together – a group board – where several, or lots, of contributors can pin to a single board. So I set one up called FREE Sewing Patterns and I've invited lots of people who had their own boards to join and repin their finds onto this central board.
It's a great way to get your content out to other Pinterest users -when you pin to the board all the members get to see your pin, and who pinned it and can jump through to your Pinterest Boards and perhaps follow you too. A group board is a fantastic networking and traffic growing opportunity for all contributors.
Easy Rules for the board members:
- Please check for duplicates before posting a new Pin
- Sewing techniques, tips and tutorials only please
- Members can post links to their own tutorials as well as their favorites from other sites
- If its a pattern – please add to the Free Sewing Patterns Group Board
- If its a re-fashion – new board coming soon especially for you !
- Sorry but I reserve the right to remove spammy pins, irrelevant content, things that are for sale and duplicates.
How to join
If you would like to pin and share – and effectively join a group of people interested in sewing and share your pins and projects with them – then just let me know. It's easy – anyone can follow along and enjoy the pins the same as any other board on Pinterest.
If you want to pin to the board, I have to send you an invite. In order to do this, I have to follow you first so please send me a link to your boards on Pinterest – it will look something like this –

I LOVE it! I’ve been sewing since I was a child, taking advance clothing and even tailoring in school. The last ten years, not so much sewing, and getting back to my love now. With new products there are new techniques and I appreciate having a place to check on thing!
**happy smiles**

Great – I hope you find it useful. I love the visual way that Pinterest can help you find something – I used to bookmark pages and then never find the one I wanted from a long list of text, but now with photos, I can easily find the tutorial I need when I want to refer to it! Perfect – today, knit binding on a t-shirt neckline – looked for the tutorial and found it right away.
