Do You Love Sewing With Bows?

Bows are a favorite clothing embellishment for me.  They can add such an elegant touch to something simple and can make it into something special.  Bows have been used like this for a long time although I really don't know where it all started.

It makes me think that we should do a short history of bows in fashion similar to the ones we've written about tassels, sewing machines, and even pillows, as well as various fabrics like cotton, linen, and polyester.  Frankly, I'm surprised we've not written about this yet.  If you're interested too, please let me know in the comments below and I'll get our historian on the job.
