It's a bit of a change up this month in the Win on Wednesday, now moved to Share on Saturday. You share something with me, usually your opinion or comment and I'll share something with you – hopefully cool sewing prizes.
Usually I'll offer a prize that needs to be posted and have to restrict where it can be sent, so this time to make it available to readers all over the world, I've decided to make it a pattern giveaway instead.
Normally our monthly contests require you to make a comment on Facebook, but not everyone likes Facebook, and it's been difficult to find an alternative that's easy to use. This poll promises that you don't need to use a social profile to enter, so let me know how to you get on . I'm hoping it will work out, but if not, we can always try another option next time. We'll get there in the end. Life is just a series of trial and errors. Hopefully not too many errors.
Prize this month – 2 sewing patterns of your choice -pick from any of these:
To enter:
Complete the survey below – which type of pattern are you most likely to sew? Click your first choice.
Rules – 1 winner will be drawn at random from those who vote on 11th July. Prize – 2 So Sew Easy sewing patterns of your choice. Open Worldwide.
Thanks everyone for your feedback. You can leave comments if you like and tell me about the sort of patterns you would like to sew.
Please be patient, the form takes a little while to load.
If you love to sew and love free patterns, then you'll love being on the mailing list at So Sew Easy. Join me and never miss another fab free pattern!
No spam promise. A once a week round up of new posts and patterns.
Hi,
Selected anon. and then landed here in comments. It looks like you have some awesome patterns and tutorials on your site.
this has been a wonderful website, I have made a the small coin pouch, and also the cosmetic bag. I love the tutorials and I will be making one of the shirts for the summer
Great to hear Victoria. I look forward to seeing what you make. Drop in and leave me a message, send me a pic on Facebook so I can show everyone, or load up your completed projects to Craftsy. Don’t keep your sewing success a secret!
I tried to sign in with Google but then it wanted me to post something on my page, and I don’t know if this worked if I didn’t post it on my Google+.
Anyways, I picked skirts. 🙂
Goodness, it’s all not easy is it! Thanks for trying and voting Jessica
Thank you so much Deby. I will try that. 🙂
LOVE this little Christmas tree! SEW cute & very different!
I voted but anonymous 🙂 so I made a comment too in case you use these for the anonymous votes? I make tops the most. Anyway – fun giveaway and you are so nice to have one!
I like the fact that you are offering a lot of patterns for nice everyday clothing as well as special occasion. The craft and bags are also fun as well. Lots to keep us all interested. You are nice to care about what we would like, thank you for your work
And thank you for letting me know what you like Anna.
I’d like to see elastic waist skirt patterns.
I only have a facebook logon to enter these type of surveys. I hope I never have to go to facebook to look at something as I don’t know ow. email is definitely my favourite way of communicating. And I feel safer.
I am sewing clothing right now. But I need church clothes right now, so I choose dresses. I wonder, I like many of your patterns, but do not wear sleeveless, any chance to have a sleeve option for your sleeveless items, or better still, would your sleeves from other blouses/ dresses fit most of your tops without? Thanks for your consideration in this matter. Nancy
I sew almost all sleeveless here because of the heat Nancy, but I know its not for everyone. Many of the patterns all start from the same bodice block and usually the arm holes won’t change so the sleeves from any of the t-shirt patterns are all basically the same. I its a knit, especially you should have no problems mixing and matching because they are easy to ease, with a woven perhaps not. I’ll include sleeves with patterns in the future where I think its suitable.
Right now I’m sewing bags and or purses of all sizes, Mani/pedi, totes for yarn, totes for the beach. Sew YES, any new medium or large bag patterns, always!
Need an option to use an email account to enter the giveaways. I could easily vote but had to select anonymous.
Yes, sorry I realise that now. I thought that it gave you the option to enter your email if you didn’t pick one of the social options. Darn it – I’ll keep looking or another option. Open to suggestions..
This opinion star thingy was very easy to use even on my smart phone
Interestingly, I had 4 choices: I could vote by signing in via Facebook, Google +, Twitter, OR – if I didn’t want to use (or didn’t have) a social media profile, I could sign in Anonymously to vote.
If your random generator chooses an anonymous entry, though, how will you know who winds the giveaway?
Yes, the flaw in my careul plan – I thought it asked for an email with the no-social option. I’m working on another option I think will work better for next time. There are so many people who are online but don’t like the use the social activity sites such as Facebook and Twitter etc, that its hard to come up with something that caters to both camps of people.
