The Lucy Tote Bag is a stylish tote bag with a few nice touches that I think you'll really like.
This project has a lot of techniques that will be familiar to you, but you might also try a few new skills along the way such as adding the zipper pocket to the outside or adding in the top zipper.
Unlike many similar projects, this design has no pattern pieces to print so it's very easy, even for those without a printer.
Pattern difficulty = Intermediate

- Inside slip pockets
- Flat base
- Outside zipper pocket
- Nice handles with rectangle rings and tabs
- Great pattern to showcase a really nice fabric print

I was just there to say Happy New Year in another country and then join a QSAS for cruise to Indonesia. We went to 3 Batik factories, got to put wax on our gifted piece of fabric and then then it was dyed for us. Those Komodo Dragons were quite an eyeful. Had a great trip and enjoyed my visit in Singapore. I DID NOT enjoy the 19 hour flight from California – but it was SO worth it.
