A June 15, 2020 update from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reminded us that we need to be prepared when we venture out to the house in these times of widespread illness.
Keep these items on hand when venturing out: a cloth face covering, tissues, and a hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol, if possible.
These Days Everyone Needs A Tissue Holder
Well, this seems like a lot of stuff to carry around so we're trying to help our readers with some sewing projects that will assist.
We recently published a list of the very best face mask sewing patterns that we could find all around the internet. This list was very popular and was even referenced by large publications like the NY Post.
Also, we recently put together a list of great little hand sanitizer holder sewing patterns to help hold on to that little bottle that can get lost in a large purse. (Remember, the CDC recommends at least 60% alcohol.)
I realized recently, that there was still the issue of how to carry around tissues so I put together another great roundup that I hope you'll like.
They're not all portable tissue holders and I've included some that are covers for tissue boxes, but they're all on the same theme. I hope you find them useful.
