Keeping on with the seasonal baby theme I started at Christmas<\/a>, I designed some simple Valentine's baby bibs.<\/p>\n<\/noscript><\/a><\/p>\nIf you don\u2019t have a baby to sew for, you can use the silhouettes for a multitude of other projects! Might\u00a0make a cute t-shirt\u00a0too!<\/p>\nTo make your own Valentine's\u00a0baby bib, you will need:<\/p>\n\nThe Pattern<\/a><\/li>\na couple large\u00a0scraps of flannel (I used red and grey) – or other soft fabric<\/li>\na small scrap of\u00a0pink satin fabric<\/li>\nmatching thread<\/li>\nfreezer paper (optional)<\/li>\nscissors<\/li>\nsewing machine<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nHow to sew a Valentine's\u00a0baby bib<\/h2>\n[Note: for more photos of each of the steps, check out the Christmas bib tutorial<\/a> too!]<\/p>\n\nCut two of the baby bib (mirrored). Note: seam allowance is\u00a0not<\/strong>\u00a0included in the pattern. Cut around the pattern, including your desired seam allowance. I used 1\/4 inch.<\/li>\nChoose your applique and cut it from your desired fabric\u00a0(You will choose either a couple small hearts or a large heart – I also included the word “breaker” to applique “heart breaker”, if you would like. Cut directly on the line. Do not include a seam allowance, as it will be appliqued on. I\u00a0copied my pattern onto freezer paper and ironed that on the fabric to cut my shapes more accurately.
