This is Penelope. \u00a0Penelope started out life as a <strong>PGM Pro 601 Dress Form<\/strong>, but she is soon destined to become me. \u00a0I'm sure the poor girl has mixed feelings about this. \u00a0At the moment, she is young, firm, perky even, with her high bust, slim hips and pert rounded behind. \u00a0But soon she is to gain 20 years, about 20 pounds and loose that hourglass figure. \u00a0It happens to us all I told her, but I swear I could hear her quietly sobbing&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>I first came across Penelope when I started my research into a dress form. \u00a0Do you remember that I even tried to make my own? \u00a0Initial results in my <a title=\"My DIY Duct Tape Dress Form\" href=\"https:\/\/so-sew-easy.com\/diy-duct-tape-dress-form\/\">Duct Tape Dress Form<\/a> were great, but over enthusiastic filling with expanding foam resulted in a grotesque that simply sat next to the road scaring tourists until she was collected and taken to a special new home by the bin men.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2509\" style=\"width: 255px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/so-sew-easy.com\/diy-duct-tape-dress-form\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2509\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2509 lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/so-sew-easy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/P1010009-245x300.jpg\" alt=\"Duct tape dress form - the finished body double. I read plenty of reviews about the adjustable dress forms and I always seemed to be between sizes, or read that having to expand one part so much further than others didn't quite work out right. \u00a0Many sewers complained that never seemed to stay set, were flimsy, broke easily etc. \u00a0So I decided to jump in with both feet and go with quality. \u00a0I am SO glad that I did. \u00a0She is quite simply the nicest thing I have ever owned.<\/p>\n<h2><code><div><\/div><\/code><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>When I opened the box, I was just blown away. \u00a0She is so very well made, so precise, so perfect.
