I’ve been working really hard in secret. Working at midnight by candle-light, scurrying around, sending secret emails and talking to lots of new people. And at last I’m glad the time has come when I can reveal what I’ve been working on. A fabulous ‘Seasonal Sewing Series’ – sewing projects for the holiday season.
Starting today and through out the month of November until 27th, I’ll be inviting one of my favorite sewing bloggers to join us each day and share their ideas for Sewing for the Festive Season. Whatever holidays you celebrate in December, family, home, sharing and giving are often a part of it. Our sewing bloggers will be sharing some exciting projects for you to sew. For gifts, the home, decor and more.
November will be jam-packed with sewing tips and projects and I’ll be delighted to be featuring some great bloggers who might be new to you.
The series will run Monday to Friday each week, with the weekends off for you to shop for fabric and sew your projects.
AND, not only that, but I’ve contacted all of the very best fabric shops, sewing suppliers, pattern makers and more to bring you prizes. Lots of lovely prizes. In fact, every day you get a guest post as part of the Seasonal Sewing Series, there will be a very kind sponsor featured that day and a giveaway.
That’s right – a giveaway every Monday to Friday through the whole of November until 27th. And on the 27th November – a Grand Prize Giveaway of Juki MO-623 Serger and a PGM Pro 602 Dress form from our wonderful Grand Prize Sponsor – Gold Star Tool.
Now I hope you are as excited as I am. Let’s look at our guests for this coming week:
- 4th – me, I’ll be starting us off with a very simple project you could make for gifts or for fundraising
- 5th – Jann of Newton Custom Interiors
- 6th – Emily of Nap-time Creations
- 7th – Pam from Threading My Way
- 8th – Becky from Patchwork Posse
So over this weekend, dust off your sewing machine, tidy your fabric stash and meet me back here on Monday for the kick off and your first project, and first giveaway.
And each day, please visit our sponsors, drop in and say hi and I’m sure they would like a ‘thank you’.
