This October, Craftsy are celebrating the creative bloggers who have truly inspired us all through their original content, vivid imagery and exceptional online personas. That’s why they are presenting the first ever Craftsy Blogger Awards, to honor those individuals who spend so many hours behind the scenes crafting the blogs you love to read!
Nominate your favorite crafty bloggers, and you’ll be entered for a chance to win a free online Craftsy class! After two weeks of nominations, the four most nominated blogs from each category will proceed into the final voting round, with winners announced on October 29, 2013.
You can vote for your favorite blogs in each of these categories:
Sewing
Quilting
Knitting & Crochet
Cake Decorating
Photography
Embroidery
Fine Art
Food & Cooking
How to nominate
Craftsy need your help October 1-14 nominating your favorite blogs in any of eight categories, such as sewing, knitting or fine arts. Choose the most fitting award for each blog, based on what you feel makes it special. Just four blogs from each category will move on to the next round, based upon votes from readers and the Craftsy Judging Panel, comprised of our editorial team and industry experts. Your nomination is important!
Craftsy Blogger Awards- Nominate Me and all your friends to win!
Of course, I'd be delighted to receive your nominations in the Sewing Blog category, but you can vote for anyone and in all the categories too. Â You can even vote for more than 1 per category so if you have a couple of favorite sewing blogs, nominate them both. Â More nominations made is also more chances to win a free course in the draw.
 My votes are already in.
Nominating you now 🙂
okay Deb..I nominated you. I hope you win! Good Luck
Thank you very much Donna. I don’t think winning is on the cards, but its nice to get a nomination or two for all my hard work this last year. Thank you.
Deby, I want to nominate you, but I don’t know what a “URL” is! Can you tell me what yours is? And any other information I might need. (I didn’t get past “URL”).
You know, I can’t remember what URL stands for but basically its the address of the website. What you see in the address bar when you visit the site home page. So for So Sew Easy, the URL is https://so-sew-easy.com. Do you remember in the ‘old’ days it used to be www. – but the www for world-wide web isn’t needed any more.
Thanks, Deby. That’s what I thought it was, but I wanted to be sure and fill out the form correctly. Robin
Okay, I got it done! Thanks for your help. Robin
I have nominated you. Good luck!
I hope you win the craftsy blogger award! I was really hoping the nomination would allow for comments, but oh well! You clearly have worked tirelessly (well maybe you are exhausted!) this past year and I really enjoy your weekly updates/entries. You are my inspiration to have begun my own blog….although I have not worked on it in months. Thank you for all you do!
Aww, that’s so lovely to hear. Thank you Geni. Just to get one nomination makes all my hours of slaving over a hot laptop all worthwhile. Yes, blogging is a lot of work and sometimes it can be a bit stressful when I’m busy with other things in life and I really want to get out a new pattern this month. But I am lucky to get so many kind and encouraging comments, even when I have sewn something not too great, that it keeps me striving for ever better and to learn more every month. I’m glad to hear you find the site interesting, thank you for your nomination.
