If you love sewing, then you probably already know and love the handmade community over at Etsy. Where ever you are in the world you can set up your own store selling either your hand-made treasures or crafting supplies. Or you can buy from many of the small and independent sellers – people just like you.
I have my own store there too, called Print or Plain, a reference to the bags I used to sew and sell. Before this one I had another store selling soaps and beauty products that did really well.
It's a great place to support small businesses, and buy awesome fabrics, and other sewing supplies. Did you catch the Best Fabric Shops on Etsy feature from earlier this year? These stores are all worth checking out – interesting fabrics and low overheads can lead to some really great finds. And most of them offer exclusive discount codes for SSE readers too.
Now we've got a great giveaway today especially sponsored by the lovely team over at Etsy, who have offered you a chance to win a $100 Etsy gift certificate to spend in any shop you like on anything you like.
Here are a few ideas to whet your shopping appetite (these pictures are clickable links):
Second prize is the Best of the Bags sewing pattern bundle from So Sew Easy, containing 6 bag sewing patterns.

There are lots of ways to enter. Pick one or more of the entries below and keep your fingers crossed.
