Last year I bought a jenome for my theatre arts class to sew costumes. Although currently suffering from a misplaced pedal, I’ve enjoyed using it to challenge my kids’ imaginations and skills. One of the highlights of last year was helping a high school student figure out how to create his own pattern and make it. I must admit, a second sewing machine would be amazing, but it’s also cool to imagine all the things anyone would make with it
