Maternity Sewing Patterns and Tutorials Roundup: All FREE

maternity sewing patternsIt can be difficult to find good maternity sewing patterns

I've had two kids and while my youngest is now almost sixteen (going on twenty..), I can still remember how difficult is was to find presentable, much less fashionable, things to wear while I was pregnant. Your size changes so much and so fast, it is hard to go out and buy a whole lot of stuff off the rack just to grow out of it in a few weeks.

Back then, I made most of my own clothes back then and I had a lot of fun experimenting with different aspects of maternity designs. I figure many readers who are themselves expecting, or who have friends or daughters who are, would like some help in finding attractive maternity designs that they can make themselves.

So we put together this roundup of Maternity Sewing Patterns.  Hope you find some lovely styles and designs that will complement you during your pregnancy.

Yes, because being proud of our changing bodies and wanting to showcase the miracle we are creating is a bad thing *rolls eyes*
Everyone has difference in style, there is absolutely no reason to bash others for the way they are comfortable dressing. If you’re more comfortable in baggy clothing, good for you! Enjoy that comfy space! If you prefer a more hugging feel to your clothing, Good for you! Feel that hug and rejoice in your comfort!

I think tight fitting maternity wear very unbecoming. How about some style and elegance!!

Wish I could find patterns that are not designed to fit tight. Loose maternity clothes are more comfortable and definitely better looking. Tight fitting maternity clothes are ugly. Woman think they look good but there are many of us who think other wise.
