NEW Singer Quantum Stylist 9985 Computerized Sewing Machine Giveaway

It's time for another giveaway! – just in time for summer.  It's been almost six months since our last giveaway where Kathy P. from Secaucus, New Jersey won the new Husqvarna Viking Jade 20 sewing machine.

And this time, have we've got something very special for you.

The Singer Quantum Stylist 9985 is considered by some to be the best sewing machine ever made (at it's price point, of course). Even being compared to some Bernina's which sell for thousands more. It's actually hard for me to say this since you know how much I love Bernina..

This machine has a crazy 960 built-in stitches and can sew at 850 stitches per minute. It is perfect for both beginners and more experienced sewists and comes from one of the most storied brands in sewing machines — Singer.

About Singer

Singer Corporation is an American manufacturer of consumer sewing machines, first established as I. M. Singer & Co. in 1851 by Isaac M. Singer with New York lawyer Edward C. Clark. Best known for its sewing machines, it was renamed Singer Manufacturing Company in 1865, then the Singer Company in 1963. It is based in La Vergne, Tennessee, near Nashville. Its first large factory for mass production was built in 1863 in Elizabeth, New Jersey.[1]

I would dearly love to win this gorgeous machine. I bought my first Singer sewing machine in 1965 right after I had my first of three beautiful babies. We had moved to a small town in WV and I couldn’t find clothes to fit me plus our little girl was so tiny that I had to use plastic diapers made for dolls. It was then that I decided I needed to learn how to sew. And sew I did. I made all our girls clothing up until they were in junior high school. I still have my faithful Singer that was so lovingly used but then my husband bought me a Bernina machine that I have so many problems with. It would be a pleasure to go back to sewing on a beautiful machine like the one being offered here. Thank you for the opportunity to win!
