Don't be afraid to skip ahead or pause and come back to sections to see exactly how the Small Backpack is sewn.

There are, just click on the pictures and it will redirect you to the different tutorials, this is a sew-along made in three parts. Enjoy 🙂
I’m finding the front pocket part of the video really hard to follow and I’m not a novice sewer. Are there written directions somewhere?? The video makes no sense
This is a sew along and the written instructions are available for free on the site. I thank you for your feedback, The video took more than 2 weeks to make so I am at a loss what part makes no sense to you? This is an applied pocket an advanced intermediate technique not for everyone.

[…] Hi Kayla, it goes to the front. Please check out the video tutorial. https://so-sew-easy.com/new-video-tutorial-sewing-small-backpack/ […]
When sewing on the side gussets after completing the zipper I believe I see two gussets with rounded edges being sewin on each end of the zipper. However I only have one side gusset pattern and it say to cut one each of lining, fabric and interfacing. Should that be two each or am I missing a piece.
Do Cut Thow, that was an oversite of mine and I just have not updated the pattern.
I was confused too. Glad I’m reading all the comments and Myra’s replies.

YES MOST APPRECIATED !!!
I can only imagine the amount of time spent.
I reviewed this, perhaps an embarrassing # of times, to “get it right”.
You are welcome Anne! Enjoy!
Thank you so much for this sew-along video, Mayra! Any time there is video instruction, especially with a more difficult project like this backpack, it is incredibly helpful to the reader/viewer/sewist! This video must have taken a lot of time to film and edit. Much appreciated!
You are welcome Kimberly, It did take a long time because I am not a video producer so your appreciation means the world to me. Thank you!
