Last week, we announced an exclusive offer that let our readers not only try Craftsy's new Bluprint service for free for a week but also enjoy the first full month for only $1!

We wouldn't recommend the trial if we didn't think it was a good product, but we also were clear that when readers do this and use our link, we make a small commission and it costs our readers nothing.

Doing this while helping us doesn't cost even a cent more, but we get a small commission which helps us continue to create new free sewing patterns and projects almost every week.

To say thanks to everyone who participated, we'd like to offer you one of our most popular paid sewing patterns sold normally for $6.95, absolutely FREE.

You certainly don't need to use our link when you try Bluprint to receive this free gift, but as before, we'd really appreciate it if you used our link if you're planning to try Bluprint or buy at Craftsy in the future:

Thank you so much for offering this pattern for free! This has inspired me to pull out my fabric stash and go shopping with enthusiasm since I don’t remember all of what I have been hoarding! LOL!

Mayra, I think you have great possibilities of being very successful with expanding your pattern line. It’s one thing to make an original project, it’s totally another to write clear detailed directions to enable others to recreate what you’ve made and have great results! As a former home economics teacher, it’s great to see projects that have wide appeal and will let many find the joy in sewing! Thank you for your generously because I know the time and effort that went into this pattern.

Thanks for the pattern. Just got back into making bags and this will be the jump off point. Will the resulting bag be acceptable if I use a non iron fleece inside, or even a headlining fabric as used in car roof lining?

Will you ever have your patterns with distributors like Checker or Brewer so quilt shops can sell them? I do a bag of the month class at my shop and I’d love to sell your patterns to customers who come in and make them for my class.

Thank you so much for the free pattern and so very much for that wonderful trial. As advertised I did feel like a kid in a candy store. It did end up with me buying a corn tortilla press! AND I am loving it! I guess we helped each other a bit. Blessings- Jane

I joined Bluprint a few days ago from the link and I’m enjoying it. I already learned a lot.

I would love to have this pattern. Is there a promo code? Craftsy is trying to charge me full price in the final total even though the pattern says FREE.

{{{{{ Ladies }}}}} How did you know?! School starts back here in a couple weeks and – although my kids are grown ups – plenty of yellow school buses lumber through our neighborhood on their way all over the county – from 5:30 am until close to 7:00 pm! These dedicated drivers’ salaries are low, they generally drive for multiple schools and grade levels, the disrespect and noise levels they face is tremendous – but they stay focused on the road, eyes on the prize, keeping the chaps safe and delivered to and from – AND with a smile and a wave for those of us doing yard work in the heat! I am very thankful that I’ve never had to drive a schoolbus.

I have been looking for a perfect bag pattern to make for the drivers, about 12 of them, who will soon be rumbling through, to put in a few surcies, a nice pen, a lanyard, key fob, badge holder, pack of gum… a few little things from the $1 store – things that would make me feel that somebody noticed the good job that I’m doing…

THANK YOU! for sharing and helping me share ~
Passing it on ~ you’re The Best!!

Thank you for the pattern! I haven’t done much sewing the last few years but your patterns have pushed me to want to sew again. I do have a question though. For the fusible fleece is there a specific weight that will keep the bag in shape?

Thank you for the pattern, Will be looking for just the material for it, as know not in stockpile as just returning to sewing.

I understand not letting you distribute the pattern for free over at Etsy, and I LOVE your patters. Is there a way to fix the link so it goes to the Craftsy page to make it easier for others to find?

I have a subscription to Bluprint and love it. IU also tried to download your free Boxy Bag Pattern but it says that it is ‘sold out’? I don’t quite understand that. I have only just received the email.

Thanks for this generous giveaway. I did, in fact, try Bluprint with your free trial and have decided to subscribe. While I really love sewing, I’m also going to try to learn more about cooking and there seems to be some good classes on that too. Thanks again!

Why? What did you really like about Bluprint? I have not seen anything good about yet. Do you really watch enough classes to pay for
subscription. Happy Creating.

I was asking G. Thompson but thank-you for your comment. I went over to Craftsy for your “free” pattern and could not get it. I would have to join Bluprint to get. No free pattern.
