I just wanted to let everyone know that we have published a video tutorial for the Easy Phone Wallet Organizer on our YouTube channel.
A lot of people following this project so we wanted to get the video out there as soon as we could.
There were a few tricky steps involved in sewing the zippers and zipper tabs in this project so hopefully, this video tutorial will help clear up any questions.
Please enjoy and don't forget to Like and Subscribe over on YouTube. We really appreciate it.

.Enjoyed making the organizer. Just a suggestion, how about adding a zipper in the middle section so you can utilize that pocket also
Hi Mattie, that’s an excellent idea! Many thanks. Any chance you can share a picture of your work here in the comments?
Excelente explicación, agradecida, saludos
Mil gracias Milagros, un saludo desde Singapore!
A super video. You not only explain how to accomplish a project but also why you do it that way. I noticed you place most of your pins in the fabric on a slant. Why on a slant? This is the first time I have seen this done. I look forward to more videos. Thank you for doing a video.
HI Rita, thank you! I place the pins c on a slant for two reasons one is that I am ambidexter and can remove the pins with either hand and the other reason is when I am using a difficult fabric for my sewing machine (three layers apparently is too much) when on a slant the fabric does not move. Finally tonight my sewing machine gave up and could not finish the post for tomorrow.
Thank you for sharing your tutorial!
Most welcome!
Embarrassingly sloppy pattern matching and stitching.
Funny you mention that because I took out the part where I was explaining why I choose to go with the grain rather than the print. The pattern on the fabric is printed rather than woven. You know I was thinking you could get a better quality fabric for 12.50 a yard. don’t you think? Fabric is so expensive here…. By all means, load your sample on the comments with better stitching, there is always space for improving the post.
That was a very gracious response, Mayra.
M MAVENS..
I think you should be more concerned with how embarrassingly rude your comments are.
I really enjoyed your tutorial, Mayra. Looking forward to future projects!
