Hello, I work for a local humane society and have a great idea for kids who take sewing classes. How about making bandanas for the dogs to fit on collars so that they are more adoptable? Kids could take a simple square and then using plastic wrap, cut out a shape of a bone and it’s done. thank you.

I thought it might be about the right time. I was wondering if January might be a better time to share some easy projects, but its great to get a sewing machine or basket of beginner tools for Christmas, with a link to this page on the Christmas card! There are lots that only use small pieces of fabric so great for practicing on scraps when you are starting out.
